Important Reminders:
- Make sure students are studying their multiplication facts at home!
- Don't forget to remind your child to turn in their January reading logs!
Writing: This week we will continue to give our persuasive speeches! Be on the lookout for those to be uploaded to the blog soon!
Reading: During reading this week, we are going to begin focusing on cause and effect. We will read many short stories and use this strategy to more deeply understand our texts!
Math: This week in math, we will continue Chapter 9: Properties and Equations. This week we will focus on creating and evaluating expressions. We will work on determining the answer to an expression when it is written with an unknown variable. Our x9 test will be on Friday!
